Swim School 2010 Announcement     Online Registration Form

Overview
Swim school is a 14 week stroke mechanics lesson program offered to swimmers ages 12 and under who are current members of USA Swimming. It is the perfect venue for beginner to advanced competitive swimmers to focus on technique in a non-competitive environment. It’s value is as much about the learning process and approach as it is about the content.

The program is broken into three grades. At grade 1 students learn to control and position their bodies in preparation for more advanced technique. In grade 2 they master the proven fundamentals of the four competitive strokes. Grade 3 features advanced concepts that expose students to elements of swimming evolution and the state of modern technique. Taken as a whole, our goal is to encourage an exploratory and individualized approach that is built upon proven methods.

Students do not have to be members of FGAC swim team but must be members of USAS. They may register as part of the program. Students must meet minimum skills criteria. Only offered in the spring.
